![]() Conservation education is a process by which individuals acquire the knowledge, values, and skills to become effective stewards of the environment and its natural resources. For over 30 years the Trust has made significant contributions to conservation education in The Bahamas. High standards and innovation are Trust education trademarks. Our Education Office is staffed by a full-time professional educator and supported by a host of volunteers and national and international partners. ![]() Special materials have been created on national parks, endangered species, and critical habitats of The Bahamas. We also work to create and implement innovative learning experiences for Bahamian students, support educational/curriculum needs of teachers around the country, as well as assist local communities with understanding livelihood benefits and potential from National Parks. We also facilitate research and learning by allowing access to our environmental library - the best in the country. | |
