School Visits
A speaker from the Bahamas National Trust can make school visits once a request has been approved by the Educational Department, tel 393-1317.
This option best suits schools which may not be able to afford carrying the students on a field trip or where time is a limiting factor.
Many schools make requests on days of environmental or cultural importance, for example World Environment Day. If you are interested in sending a request for a speaker on such significant days, then please remember to contact the Education Office well in advance to ensure that someone is available for that day.
The visiting speaker can talk on a range of subjects depending upon the needs of the teacher. However, below are some of the presentations that are currently given.
